We at St. John's would love to welcome you as part of our community. While the church is situated in a rural setting, we have a diverse group of folks who call this their church.

Many of our members live on the farms surrounding the church and their families have belonged for several generations. However, we have people that live in many of the surrounding communities. No matter what your background we know that God loves you and has given you unique gifts to use in sharing his love with others.

Pastor Schmeltz was raised on a dairy farm in northern Indiana. He worked in the manufacturing industry for 26 years before attending Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. There he received his Master of Divinity degree and graduated in 2009. The first congregation he served was in northeast Indiana.
